Youth 'abducted' from Karachi's Ferozeabad, found dead in Gulistan-e-Jauhar

Karachi: A 25-year-old man who was reportedly abducted from Karachi's Ferozabad area has been found dead in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, prompting police to launch an investigation into the suspected kidnapping and murder.
The deceased, identified as Meer Raza Ali, son of Khalid Bin Waleed, was allegedly abducted within the jurisdiction of Ferozabad Police Station.
According to police, his body was recovered near a graveyard in Block 1, Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
Investigators said the victim appeared to have been subjected to severe violence before being killed. The body was shifted to hospital for a post-mortem examination, while forensic evidence has been collected to assist the investigation.
Police said an FIR relating to the alleged abduction had already been registered at Ferozabad Police Station following the victim's disappearance.
According to the victim's father, Meer Raza Ali had left his shop in Baharabad at around 10 minutes to 8 and was on his way home when he went missing. Family members reportedly attempted to contact him several times, but his mobile phone remained switched off.
Police have launched a detailed investigation from multiple angles to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident, identify those responsible and determine the motive behind the alleged crime.
Officials said further progress in the case would depend on forensic findings, witness statements and other evidence collected during the investigation.
