Mir Raza Ali’s father questions delay in JIT formation

KARACHI, August 24, 2026: The father of Mir Raza Ali, Mir Hussain, has raised objections against the establishment of a judicial commission and raised questions about the delay in setting up of a joint investigation team for the murder of his son.

“Tell us who the killer is. Why a JIT is not being established?”

Mir Hussain told that the mayor of Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, claims to be with them but he was not doing the same.

“Tell us why the JIT is not being established?” Mir Hussain questioned addressing Murtaza Wahab.

He said that hurdles were being raised in establishing a JIT.

“We trusted you. You must trust us and set up the JIT,” Mir Hussain said.

Mir Hussain also accused that hurdles were being raised in the process of exhuming and that panel had been changed overnight.

He said that they were demanding a JIT and not being taken into confidence on the matter.
