Another person died of rabies at a Karachi hospital two months after being bitten by a stray dog in Larkana, taking the provincial tally of rabies-related deaths to 14.
According to details, the 45-year-old patient was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) from Larkana after he developed symptoms of the disease.
He was reportedly bitten by a stray dog two months ago in his hometown Larkana.
Health officials said that he had not received an anti-rabies vaccine after the dog bite.
They said that five cases of rabies have been reported at Jinnah Hospital so far this year, while nine at Indus Hospital.
