According to a statement issued on X, the main procession will begin from Nishtar Park and conclude at Imambargah Hussainia Iranian via its traditional route.
M.A. Jinnah Road will remain closed from Gurumandir to Tower, and motorists have been advised to use designated alternative routes across the Central, East, and South districts.
Special diversions have been arranged for commuters travelling from Nazimabad, Liaquatabad, Shahrah-i-Faisal, Gulistan-i-Jauhar, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, and other areas.
Temporary road closures will also be enforced at Gurumandir and Bahadur Yar Jang Road during specific hours on the 9th of Muharram.
Only vehicles participating in the procession and displaying authorised windscreen stickers will be allowed on M.A. Jinnah Road. Procession participants have been assigned specific entry routes, while vehicles distributing Sabeel and Niaz may enter through Saddar Dawakhana and Capri Signal.
Parking along the procession route will be strictly prohibited.
