Earlier, Umar Dar, son of Rehana Dar, claimed that his mother had been arrested in Sialkot.
Dar said that Rehana had called to hold a peaceful protest in relation to the May 9 events.
According to Umar, several other PTI women leaders were also apprehended by police.
It should be noted that Rehana Dar had contested against PML-N's Khawaja Asif from National Assembly constituency NA-71, where she faced defeat against the defence minister.
