Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Wednesday in ling with higher rates in the international market.
The price of gold rose by Rs4,200 per tola to Rs463,936, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The rate for 10 grams also increased by Rs3,601, reaching Rs397,750.
A day earlier, gold had closed at Rs459,736 per tola after gaining Rs2,400.
In the global market, gold prices climbed by $42 to $4,415 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Silver also became more expensive, with its price rising by Rs146 to Rs7,111 per tola.
