A video has gone viral on social media, in which a police officer can be seen misbehaving with the Jamaat-e-Islami leader and "Save Gaza" movement chief Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan.

The protest organised by the JI Senator has been continued for almost two weeks at D Chowk in the federal capital.

However, the sit-in was marred by an untoward incident when a car ran over sleeping protestors, killing two and injuring three others.

Police have also launched a crackdown on Save Gaza protestors to disperse them and clear the road blockage in Islamabad's highly sensitive area.

The misbehaviour from a police official, named Zeb Khan, also came at a time when the Palestine supporters were peacefully protesting in Islamabad.

In the viral video, Zeb Khan could be seen schooling Senator Mushtaq Ahmed and pointing his finger at him.

Reacting to the incident, several politicians, including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Mushahid Hussain and Pakistan Tehreeke-Insaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil SHeikh, condemned the police officer's behaviour.
