Pakistan’s ongoing operation Ghazab Lil-Haq will continue until credible guarantees are provided that militant groups will no longer receive support from Afghanistan.

According to security officials, Pakistan has no dispute with Afghanistan or its people but accused the Afghan Taliban government of acting as a “proxy master” for several militant organizations operating in the region.

Moreover, they warned that the Taliban leadership must decide whether to maintain relations with Pakistan or continue backing groups that threaten regional peace.

Meanwhile, security officials have described the operation as part of Pakistan’s broader counter-terrorism effort and said it would persist until practical steps are taken by the Afghan Taliban to dismantle militant networks.

Furthermore, they added that Pakistan was targeting hideouts and logistical infrastructure used by groups Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.

Officials rejected claims that civilian areas in Afghanistan were targeted, insisting the operation was focused strictly on militant infrastructure.

Authorities stated that more than 200 intelligence-based operations are being conducted daily across Pakistan to counter militant threats, stressing that full implementation of the National Action Plan remain critical to eliminating terrorism.
