Mushtaq Ahmed has said that Israeli forces seized 11 boats from a flotilla and carried out attacks in international waters.
In a statement, he alleged that the vessels were taken into custody after being targeted by drones and naval units. He described the action as an attack on a humanitarian mission and urged the international community to take notice.
Ahmed also called on the public to raise their voice in support of Palestine, appealing for wider awareness and response to the situation.
Data from the group’s Flotilla Tracker indicates that 22 boats have been intercepted so far, while 36 vessels continue their journey towards Gaza.
In a statement posted on social media, the flotilla claimed that Israeli military boats had surrounded the vessels in international waters and issued threats of detention and force.
The organisation urged governments to intervene, calling for immediate action to ensure the safety of those onboard.
