Lawyer found dead inside car at Rawalpindi Judicial Complex parking lot

The body of a lawyer was found inside a car parked at the Judicial Complex in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, police said.

The deceased was identified as Advocate Sanaullah Satti, according to an initial police report. A moharir at the Judicial Complex alerted Civil Lines police about the body at around 9:30am, the report said.

A team from the Punjab Forensic Science Agency was called to the scene to examine the vehicle and collect evidence.

Rawalpindi Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Tariq Mehboob told reporters that the exact cause of death would be determined after the forensic report is received.

Police have not yet disclosed further details about the circumstances surrounding the lawyer’s death.

In a separate incident in January, the body of another lawyer was found in a deserted area of Islamabad’s H-9 sector. Police had said the victim had suffered a bullet wound to the back and suspected that he had been murdered.
