Bushra Bibi undergoes eye check-up in Adiala jail

A team of eye specialists conducted a check-up of Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, in Adiala Jail after she complained of vision-related issues, media reports said, citing sources.

They said that a three-member medical team comprising experts from both public and private hospitals examined her eyes. The team included Dr Nadeem Qureshi from Al-Shifa Eye Trust Hospital, Dr Muhammad Arif from PIMS, and Dr Afaq from Holy Family Hospital.

The examination continued for around two hours at the jail hospital, the reports said, adding that the doctors brought modern equipment to assess her eyesight and overall eye health, while the jail’s medical staff assisted the visiting team during the process.

Following the check-up, the doctors prescribed eye drops, after which the medical team left the facility.
