A woman from Belarus has married a Pakistani man after their online friendship turned into a cross-border love story, culminating in her conversion to Islam shortly after arriving in Faisalabad.

According to 32-year-old Sagheer Hussain, the couple first connected on social media around 10 months ago. What began as casual interaction soon developed into a deeper relationship.

“Our understanding and emotional connection grew over time, and we decided to get married,” Hussain said.

The woman, identified as Olga, traveled from Belarus to Pakistan to formalize their relationship. Upon her arrival in Faisalabad, she visited a local mosque with Hussain, where she embraced Islam.

Following her conversion, she was given the name Olga Hussain. The couple later held a formal wedding ceremony attended by family members.

Hussain said the couple is now beginning a new chapter of life together after tying the knot, describing their journey as one driven by mutual understanding and commitment.
