An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Thursday handed former senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan and co-accused Daniyal over to police on four-day physical remand in a case related to a protest over Kashmir.
They were produced before the duty judge on completion of their three-day physical remand.
During the hearing, the prosecution informed the court that the police needed further custody to recover a vehicle and weapons allegedly linked to the case.
The prosecution requested a 30-day physical remand. However, the court granted police a four-day physical remand of former senator Mushtaq Ahmad and the other person.
Police have registered the case against them at Shalimar police station.
