He explained that Ballu was brought home when he was just one month old and was hand-fed and cared for personally.

Typically, the animals are brought to the facility two to three months prior to the sacrificial season.

Speaking emotionally about the upcoming sacrifice, he admitted it would be extremely difficult for the family.

He added that the animal is bathed daily using shampoo suitable for livestock.

The owner also revealed plans to decorate the animal before Eid

“We consider them part of the family and part of the home,” he said.
